1. Where you use it?
If you use for roofing, choose stronger and thicker one. For home appliance, maybe thinner steel is ok.
2. What is the base steel?
Normally have galvanized steel and galvalume steel. Galvanized steel (PPGI) is for most normal use. Galvalume steel (PPGL) is better if you use at seaside or wet area, not easy get rusty.
3. What paint to choose?
For most house roof, PE paint is enough and price is low. If want long time no fade, use SMP or PVDF, but price is higher.
4. Color and surface
You can choose color what you like. If need sample, ask supplier send you small piece to check real color. Some surface is glossy, some is matte.
5. How thick is the steel and paint?
Roofing sheet usually 0.35mm to 0.7mm is ok. Paint thickness normal is 20/5μm or 25/7μm. If you do home appliance, can use thinner steel.
6. Ask supplier for test report
If project is big or need special quality, better to ask for test report or certificate.
